Economic Senator Melanie Leonhard (SPD), representatives from Airbus, project and construction participants, as well as architects, celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the “ElbAir” service center in Hamburg-Finkenwerder on Monday. In addition to office spaces and the actual visitor center, the building complex will also include a hotel, gastronomic facilities, and a supermarket. ElbAir is expected to be completed next year.
In front of the gates of the Hamburg AIRBUS factory in Finkenwerder, property team AG is developing an up to five-storey, architecturally sophisticated and sustainable service center.
